- Chest pain with a deep breath
- Fatigue
- Fever with no other cause
- General discomfort & malaise
- Hair loss
- Mouth sores
- Sensitivity to sunlight
- Skin rash - a "butterfly" rash
- Swollen lymph nodes
Possible complications are:
- Deep vein thrombosis/pulmonary embolism
- Anemia
- pericarditis, endocarditis, or myocarditis
- Pleural effusions
- Pregnancy complications
- Stroke
- Severely low blood platelets (thrombocytopenia)
- Inflammation of the blood vessels
